Desktop Love Story Animation

A Flash animation I made during my exchange in Japan. This animation course called "Media Creation" was my first course in the Joshibi University on Art and Design.

Everyone made tree animations during the course and this is the final work of mine. The theme was "texture" so almost anything was possible. I choosed desktop as a "texture", because I wanted to use Flash and I got this little idea about a bored backround boy who creates a girlfriend for himself.

I didn't have enough time to finish this as the way I wanted, but I took a shortcut and used not-so-good-looking tween. But sometimes you just have to make compromises when you fight against the deadline.

I used Flash CS3 and I tried to make a play button but after many hours of tutorials I still failed. If somebody knows how to use AS3 to create a simple play button, then please help me!

The song is "Mod Indigo" from freeplaymusic.com. I wanted to add some music to this, because it usually makes the clip more enjoyable to watch.
